About the course
Cecil Plains Golf Club is a country club at Cecil Plains on the Darling Downs. It is one of 19 clubs affiliated with the Darling Downs Golf Association and plays in the association's Zone 4, alongside the Bell, Dalby, Jandowae and Oakey clubs. The club has been represented at the association since at least 1981.
The club takes an active part in district golf. Its open carnival was on the association's September 2026 calendar and is listed again for 18 September 2027. A Cecil Plains team won the association's 2026 Committee Challenge, played at Crow's Nest, and the club is due to host that event in 2027. It is also on the roster to host the Zone 4 championships in 2029.
The number of holes, par, greens type, green fees and visitor arrangements are not published online, so contact the club through its Facebook page before travelling to confirm when the course is available for social play.
