About the course

Toogoolawah Golf Club is a volunteer-run country club on Annette Street in the township of Toogoolawah, with a nine-hole course, a clubhouse and a bar. Visitors are welcome, and members are encouraged to bring friends along.

The nine holes are played twice from separate tees for an 18-hole round. On the club scorecard the men's 18 holes play to par 71 over 5,785 metres and the women's to par 72 over 5,420 metres.

Social golf is available every day, although social players give way to members when a club competition is on. To book a time or a motorised buggy, phone the clubhouse on 0459 344 105. Green fees are $30 for 18 holes and $20 for nine, and buggies cost $40 for 18 holes and $20 for nine. Fees are paid before teeing off, at the clubhouse when it is open, in the honour box near the spike bar steps or by direct deposit. Players are asked to carry a sand bucket for divots, repair pitch marks, rake bunkers and leave the course as they found it.

  • Wednesday: social day, with an 18-hole ladies competition at 8am and a nine-hole chook run hitting off between 3pm and 3.30pm ($5, open to members and non-members).
  • Saturday: competition from 12 noon, with nominations taken half an hour beforehand ($15).

Beginners are welcome in all competitions, and the calendar includes charity ambrose days that are open to golfers and non-golfers alike. The clubhouse can be hired with full catering for weddings, birthday parties and meetings.
