About the course
Westonia Golf Club plays on Della Bosca Road, about a five-minute drive east of the Westonia townsite. The Shire of Westonia describes an 18-hole course with sand greens, and the course is surrounded by cropping land.
Golf here is a winter game, with a season running from April to October. In 2026 the season opened with the club's annual general meeting at the clubrooms on Sunday 19 April, followed by a memorial opening day, and it closed in October with two sponsored days, including a Putts for Pink day that drew 24 players and raised more than $2,600 for breast cancer awareness. Through the season the club holds Sunday club days, a three-round club championship with men's and ladies' divisions, sponsored memorial trophy days and, from 2026, a combined men's and ladies' open day in early July. Fields are small, often a dozen or so players.
Members of the public are welcome to play, and the shire lists the green fee as $5. New members are welcome at the start of each season. Club news and results appear in the Westonian, the shire's community newsletter. The club's phone number is (08) 9046 7165.
