About the course
Millaa Millaa Golf Club plays at about 870 metres above sea level, and the Far North Queensland Golf Association, which lists it among the 21 clubs in its region, describes it as the highest course in the Far North. The club's Facebook page notes that the course is home to the Lumholtz tree-kangaroo.
The course has nine holes with 18 tees, so a full round plays each hole twice from different tees. The ground has natural undulation, and the layout uses natural water hazards, bunkers and well-placed trees.
The club hosts the Millaa Millaa Open, which was held on 13 and 14 September 2025 as a non-points event on the Far North Queensland golf calendar.
Par, green fees, booking arrangements and clubhouse facilities are not published online, so contact the club through its Facebook page before visiting.
