About the course
Ravenshoe Millstream Country Club is on Golf Links Parade at Ravenshoe, on the edge of the Millstream Estate. Its story begins with the Ravenshoe Golf Club, formed in 1922, which opened its first course on the edge of the township in 1924; the club describes it as the first golf course in Far North Queensland. When ownership of that land changed, the club moved in 1997 to its present site and took the Millstream Country Club name.
The course has nine holes with grass greens, set among plenty of wildlife and birdlife. The club's website does not publish par or hole lengths. In its 2020 golf notes the committee named better year-round water access for the course as a priority.
Visitors are welcome to play a round, walk the course or call in for a cold drink. On-site caretakers look after the grounds, the course is open every day and buggies are available. Membership categories cover junior, open, limited and social members.
The clubhouse also runs family dinner nights and hosts functions. The website does not list current green fees, bar hours or competition times, so it is worth phoning the club on 0487 989 568 or checking its Facebook page before making the trip.
