About the course
Balmoral Golf Club is on Rocklands Road, about four kilometres from the small town of Balmoral in the Southern Grampians. The 18-hole course has sand greens and is cut from natural bushland.
The layout includes bunkers, and some fairways are gently undulating. Shrubs and trees, both native and exotic, line the course and provide habitat for a range of birds and other wildlife.
The club runs its season from March to October, but golfers are welcome to play the course at any time of year, and the club says all are welcome. Fees, competition days and booking arrangements are not published online, so call the club on 03 5570 1316 or message its Facebook page before visiting.
