About the course

Mooralla Golf Club sits on the Henty Highway in Victoria's Southern Grampians, about a 15-minute drive from Cavendish. The course runs along the edge of Victoria Lagoon on the western side of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, among large old red gums, and wildlife often shares the fairways. Locals built the course in the 1940s.

It is a nine-hole layout of 5,452 metres with sand greens, rated par 35 for men with a slope of 112. Mooralla is one of seven sand-green clubs in the Western District Golf Association, which groups 24 clubs between Camperdown and the South Australian border.

The club still competes in the association's events: in the 2026 pennant finals Mooralla reached the mixed pennant final, losing to Warrnambool 3/2.

The course is open all year round. Green fees, booking arrangements and a club phone number are not published online, and the club has no website, so contact the club or the association before visiting. No details of a clubhouse, practice facilities or cart hire are published online.
