About the course

Moora Lake View Golf Club sits on Dandaragan Road about 2 km west of Moora, in bushland where Carnaby's cockatoos are often seen. It is an 18-hole course with sand greens, laid out so it is easy to find your way around. Par is 72: at the 2023 Aglime Sand Greens Championship of Western Australia, which the club hosted for a field of 160 golfers, the first-round leaders shot 69 to sit three under par. Heavy fog on the second morning that year cut the final round to nine holes.

The club also hosted the 2019 Aglime Rural Bronze, a three-day sand greens event for women golfers on higher handicaps, and its open days on GolfWA's calendar include a Ladies Sandgreens Open Day, the Koonya Cup Open Day and the Police Carnaby Cup mixed ambrose.

The playing season runs from April to September, with the club day on Sunday. Visitors are welcome, and the course is open every day of the year. Green fees are not published online.

The licensed clubhouse has a kitchen and bar and seats 120, with a verandah and lawn, and is available to hire for functions.
