About the course

Club Banora is a Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts venue on Leisure Drive at Banora Point, about five minutes south of Twin Towns in Tweed Heads. As well as golf, the club has two lawn bowls greens, six all-weather tennis courts, snooker tables and a large children's playground.

The golf course is a nine-hole layout with tree-lined fairways, bunkers and water. An 18-hole round is played as two loops, and the second loop brings in a different mix of the course's 11 greens and 14 tee blocks so the holes change.

Visitors are welcome for social and competition golf, and the golf shop arranges tee times on 07 5524 6666. Social start times vary by day: under daylight saving they begin at 6.30am on Tuesday and Thursday, 6am on Sunday, late morning on Monday and Wednesday and 2.30pm on Saturday, with bookings advised on most days. Visitor green fees are $43 for 18 holes and $28 for nine, carts are $48 and $28, club hire is $15 and pull buggies $5. The course closes after heavy rain and carts can be banned while it is wet, so check the course status page before you travel.

The golf shop offers lessons, group clinics and junior programs, club repairs and regripping, basic merchandise and a bar. The Slice & Fork bistro serves lunch and dinner daily and has a deck looking over the lake and the course.
