About the course

Pottsville Golf Course is a nine-hole course at 930 Pottsville Road, about 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Pottsville on the Tweed Coast. It sits 500 metres along Pottsville Road from the Cudgera Creek Road intersection, heading towards Mooball.

The course is pitched at golfers of all standards while still testing experienced players. A scorecard and par details are not published online.

It opens for social golf from Wednesday to Sunday from 7.30am, with the last nine-hole tee-off at 3pm and the gates closing at 5pm. It is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays. Walkers do not need to book, booking a motorised cart is recommended, and groups of seven or more must book. From Wednesday to Friday the green fee is $28 for nine or 18 holes; at weekends it is $28 for nine and $38 for 18. Juniors up to 16 pay $19, and children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Carts cost $30 for nine holes and $50 for 18 and are hired only to licensed drivers over 18. Hire clubs, including left-handed and children's sets, and pull buggies are available. Dress is smart casual golf wear, with no bare feet, thongs, slides, singlets or swimwear.

The clubhouse has a licensed bar open from 10am, and BYO alcohol is not permitted. Golf groups can use a free barbecue, but bucks parties are not accepted.
