About the course

Uralla Golf Club is beside the southern entrance to Uralla on the New England Highway, with access from Plane Avenue, which runs parallel to the highway. The town is roughly halfway between Sydney and Brisbane.

The 18-hole course has grass greens on gently undulating ground and plays to a par of 70, measuring 5710 metres for men and 5090 metres for women.

Visitors pay $25 for 18 holes and $15 for nine, and juniors play free with a paying adult. Discounted rates apply after 3pm, and carts cost $40 for 18 holes and $20 for nine. Social 18-hole competitions run on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with a 10am shotgun start and need a handicap, while a nine-hole social game on Sunday at 10am needs no handicap. Junior golf and coaching are held on Sunday mornings from 9am. The club welcomes corporate, business and social groups and can package golf with catering and use of the clubhouse.

The clubhouse is open from 10am until late seven days a week. The bistro serves lunch from noon to 2:30pm and dinner from 6pm to 8pm daily, and there is a bar, a BBQ area for hire and function space. Travellers can stay at primitive campsites on the course for a donation, with drinking water and toilets available around the clock and showers during clubhouse hours.
