About the course

Kumbia and District Golf Club plays on a country course at Kumbia, a small South Burnett town in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains. The town is on the Bunya Highway between the mountains and Kingaroy, and the course looks out towards the Bunya range.

The course is laid out around the local racetrack, with out of bounds areas to avoid. The regional tourism guide describes a game here as an 18-hole round, but the number of holes and the par are not published online, so check how the course is set up with the club.

Visitor access, competition days and green fees are also not published online, so contact the club before travelling.

Kumbia also has the Kumbia Federation Heritage Centre on Bell Street, which holds historical photographs and artefacts and opens on Sunday afternoons or by appointment. Stone fruit growers around the town open their packing sheds to visitors by prior arrangement, and the Wild Dog Barrier Fence passes nearby.
