About the course
Wondai Country Club is a combined golf and bowls club on the Bunya Highway at Wondai in the South Burnett. Golfers in the town first played at the Wondai Showgrounds and moved to the present site in 1933. In 1941 the local bowlers joined the golf club under a new constitution, and the club was known as the Wondai Golf and Bowling Club before it took its current name. Members marked the club's 75th anniversary in 2016.
The golf course has nine holes, and Visit South Burnett describes it as suitable for golfers of every handicap. The club also has a lawn bowls green lit for twilight and night competition, and it hosts community days, such as a fundraising bowls day for South Burnett Rugby League in June 2025.
Par, green fees and visitor tee times are not published online, so contact the club through its Facebook page before you travel.
