About the course
Miles Golf Club is the golf club for the Western Downs town of Miles in southern Queensland. In June 2026 the club hosted the Queensland Men's Sand Greens Championship, a Golf Australia state event played from 5 to 7 June over an 18-hole fourball and 36 holes of stroke play. It was open to male amateur golfers with a Golf Australia handicap of 35.9 or less, had a maximum field of 192 players, and was listed on the Darling Downs golf district's 2026 calendar of major dates. The championship took over from the Outback Queensland Masters, which Golf Australia staged in the region from 2019 to 2025.
The club's own website was showing only a maintenance notice in October 2026, and holes, par, green fees and visitor arrangements are not published online. Contact the club before visiting to confirm when the course is available and how green fees are paid.
