About the course

Quorn Golf Club sits on the edge of the Quorn township in the Flinders Ranges, with its entrance on East Terrace. Capowie Creek runs through the middle of the course and can come into play on most holes, and many holes are lined with eucalypts and look out towards the ranges.

It is a nine-hole course of par 36, played as an 18-hole round of par 72 with a handful of alternative tees used the second time around. The slope rating is 119. The putting surfaces are black sand scrapes.

Visitors and non-members are welcome and pay a small green fee. Several of the club's competitions are open to the public, and the club holds an open day in late May. The weekly competitions are:

  • Wednesday: women's 18-hole competition, tee off 9am.
  • Saturday: men's 18-hole competition, tee off 12.30pm.

The small clubhouse has a licensed bar that opens on competition days, and there is a car park. The club can be contacted on (08) 8648 6440.
