About the course

Wirrabara Golf Club has an 18-hole course with sand greens at Wirrabara, a small town in the Southern Flinders Ranges known for the nearby Wirrabara Forest, its orchards and a producers' market held on the third Sunday of each month. The District Council of Mount Remarkable lists the course among the town's sporting facilities and places it on the corner of East Terrace and Range Road.

Golf here is a cool-season game. Men's and ladies' competitions are played on Saturdays, usually between April and September, with a noon tee-off; players are asked to arrive around 11.30am, and everyone is welcome. The club also runs charity days, and its September 2026 charity day drew more than 60 entries.

Green fees are not published online. The club posts its news on its Facebook page, which gives its contact address as 1 East Terrace, Wirrabara. In town, the Rocky River rail trail runs from Wirrabara towards Stone Hut for anyone wanting a walk or ride after a round.
