About the course

Edenhope Golf Club sits on the western edge of Edenhope in the West Wimmera, beside Lake Wallace, in a natural bushland setting. The endangered red-tailed black cockatoo is often seen feeding in the stringybarks around the course, and the club points to sunrise and sunset views across the greens.

The course is flat to gently undulating, with fully watered fairways and 18 grass greens surrounded by native bush. The club's hole-by-hole guide puts the white tees at 5837 metres and par 71, and the red tees at 5177 metres and par 72.

2nd: a 404-metre par 4, rated the hardest hole on the card.
11th: a 450-metre par 5 and the longest hole on the course.
13th: a 386-metre par 4, index 2.
16th: the shortest hole, a 134-metre par 3.

The course is open all year and visitors are welcome. Green fees are $30 for 18 holes and $20 for nine, and juniors under 18 pay $2. The club's calendar includes the Lake Wallace Cup and Ullswater Bowl matchplay in autumn, a tournament week in July and the club championships in August.

The clubrooms are fully licensed, with a bar run by volunteer golfers and a dining room that looks out over the greens. Function space is available for hire on any day of the week by request.
