About the course
Borden Golf Club is on Chester Pass Road at Borden, a farming town in the Shire of Gnowangerup in the Great Southern, about 30 kilometres from the Stirling Range National Park. GolfWA lists it as an affiliated club and a public access course, and the Shire's May 2026 welcome pack includes it among Borden's sporting clubs alongside the bowling and cricket clubs.
The club is a regular host on the Great Southern women's golf calendar. GolfWA's 2026 fixtures included a Borden Women's Open Day on 14 August 2026 and a Lower Great Southern Women's Golf Association open day at Borden on 28 August 2026, and the draft 2027 calendar has another women's open day at Borden on 27 August 2027. Borden was also one of six locations for GolfWA-backed women's coaching clinics in 2018, part of a regional project that brought 53 new or longer-handicap players into the game.
