About the course

Cuballing Golf Club is a country course 3 km north of the Cuballing townsite on Strathern Road, set in a reserve of wandoo (white gum), jam and sheoak country surrounded by bush and farmland. Curlews and other wildlife are often seen on the course.

The course has 18 holes, par 72, and can be played as nine or 18. It is not reticulated, so conditions depend on the season, and it is at its best from May to September. Each nine is par 36, with three tee sets (blue, red and orange).

  • 1st: a 151-metre par 3 off the blue tees.
  • 6th: the longest hole, a 501-metre par 5.
  • 15th: a 194-metre par 3, the longest of the short holes.
  • 16th: a 351-metre par 4, stroke index 1 from the blue tees.

Saturday is members' day, with tee-off around midday. On other days the course is open to the public, with no facilities open, and visiting non-members pay a $5 green fee on an honour system; the standard green fee is $10. Bring a barbecue or packed lunch, or eat at the Cuballing Roadhouse just down the road. Fixtures are published on the club's website, and enquiries go to cuballinggolfclub@outlook.com.
