About the course
Kalgoorlie Golf Course sits on Aslett Drive in Karlkurla, Kalgoorlie, and is owned and run by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The 18-hole grass course was designed by Graham Marsh and is home to the Goldfields Golf Club, whose members share the course with the public. A course map and a fly-through of all 18 holes are on the course website.
The course is open to the public seven days a week, and tee times for members and visitors are booked online through the Goldfields booking system or by phoning the pro shop. Under the 2026/27 fee schedule a round costs $80 for 18 holes and $55 for nine, any day of the week. Seniors Card holders and players under 18 pay $60 and $40, children 12 and under play free with a paying adult, and locals receive 25 per cent off standard green fees. A twilight nine from 2pm costs $44, and on Fridays a "9 and Dine" package of nine holes, a shared cart and a meal is $65 with pre-booking.
Motorised carts cost $50 for 18 holes and $30 for nine, pull buggies $10 and hire clubs $25 for 18 holes. The dress code is relaxed: golf attire is not required, but enclosed shoes and smart casual clothing are.
The practice area has a driving range with turf and covered artificial tees and novelty targets, a chipping green with bunkers and a separate large putting green, all open to members and visitors during opening hours. The golf shop, run by head professional Correy Price, offers club fitting and repairs, and the golf academy runs individual lessons, junior programs and beginner and women's social classes. The clubhouse has showers and a club room, and the Waterhole Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, with walk-ins welcome.
