About the course

Esperance Golf Club is on Dickerson Road in Esperance, with a licensed clubhouse looking out over the course and its lakes.

The 18-hole course is par 72 for both men and women, measuring 5,906 metres for men and 5,189 metres for women. Water comes into play on ten holes, and several greens are two-tiered.

  • 3rd: a 146-metre par 3 with a carry over water and bunkers either side of the green.
  • 5th: a 466-metre par 5 that doglegs left, with water down the left.
  • 6th: a 155-metre par 3 that plays long into the sea breeze, to a two-tiered green.
  • 17th: a 132-metre par 3 played downhill from an elevated tee, all carry.

The course is open seven days unless the club advises otherwise, and visitors are welcome. Walking visitors pay green fees at the clubhouse; the club does not publish visitor fee amounts online, though it offers a monthly visitor membership. Carts are booked online through VENDI cart hire. The clubhouse is open Tuesday to Thursday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 5pm, and on weekends from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm; it is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

Competitions run most days: - Tuesday: men's veterans, 11.30am tee-off - Wednesday: ladies, 11am - Thursday: men's scroungers, 11.30am - Saturday and Sunday: mixed, midday

The clubhouse has a fully licensed bar, a dance floor and outdoor areas, and is hired out for functions with limited catering.
