About the course

Jerilderie Golf Club is part of the Jerilderie Sports Club, a not-for-profit club that acts as a base for the town's sporting and social groups. The course is at the entrance to Jerilderie on the banks of Billabong Creek, on the Newell Highway in the southern Riverina, a little under two hours' drive west of Wagga Wagga and about 617 km south-west of Sydney. Jerilderie marks the southern end of the Kidman Way and is known for the Kelly Gang's 1879 raid.

The 18 holes play to par 71 and measure 5,650 metres from the blue tees and 5,049 metres from the red tees. The layout bends around a billabong, and several shots are played over or alongside the creek.

  • 16th: a 97-metre par 3, the shortest hole.
  • 18th: a 504-metre par 5 to finish.

In April 2025 the club completed upgrades funded by the NSW Golf Foundation and the sports club board: automatic watering on the 14th and 15th fairways and greens, and new tee signs replacing ones in place since the early 1960s. The signs show white, blue and red course options and a composite nine-hole course. The club runs annual women's, mixed and men's tournaments and charity days, including a Good Friday appeal day and an MND golf day in June.

Green fees and booking details are not published online. The clubhouse has a bar, a dining and gaming room and social facilities, and accommodation is within walking distance.
