About the course
Leeton Golf Club's course runs along Acacia and Maiden Avenues in Leeton, in the Riverina. The club has a new clubhouse and hosts the SunRice Pro-Am each autumn, a professional and amateur event that has run for more than 30 years, as well as a veterans' week of golf in October.
The 18-hole course is fully irrigated and plays to a par of 72, measuring 5824 metres from the white tees, 5397 from the yellow and 5203 from the red. The ground is flat, so it is an easy walk, but water and out of bounds come into play on many holes, and several holes dogleg around large trees.
- 3rd: the longest hole, a 501-metre par 5 with a hazard crossing the fairway about 50 metres short of the green.
- 6th: the longest par 3 at 183 metres, with bunkers to the right of the green.
- 8th: a 468-metre par 5 that doglegs twice around a box gum in the fairway.
Non-members pay $37 for 18 holes and $29 for nine; members of other clubs on reciprocal terms pay $18. Social golf is available seven days a week, but calling the on-course pro shop first avoids clashing with competitions. Motorised carts, clubs and buggies can be hired.

- Wednesday: men's stableford and women's midweek competitions.
- Saturday: men's and women's competition.
Visitors are welcome in the Wednesday and Saturday events. Over summer the club runs a nine-hole twilight competition, one of the largest in the state. The course is open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm during daylight saving and 8.30 am to 5.30 pm otherwise. The pro shop runs junior clinics, and the clubhouse hosts functions.
