About the course
Murwillumbah Golf Club is at 233 Byangum Road, Murwillumbah, in the Tweed Valley close to Mount Warning National Park, and the mountain's peak is in view across much of the course.
The course is a par 71 of 6,181 metres from the championship tees, par 35 out and 36 home, with men's and ladies' tees as well. Cane fields, water and drains come into play, and the club has a master architect's improvement plan for future changes.
- 1st: The Bunker, a 359-metre par 4 where long hitters can carry the fairway bunker and others lay up short of the water.
- 5th: The Pump House, the longest hole at about 520 metres, a par 5 from a narrow tee shot with a fairway bunker for the lay-up.
- 14th: Tiger Three, a 172-metre par 3 with out of bounds in the cane on the left and water on the right.
- 18th: Jenkins, a 374-metre par 4 finishing hole with out of bounds left off the tee and beside the green.
From 2 March 2026, visitor green fees are $70 for 18 holes and $45 for nine on weekdays, and $75 and $50 on weekends. Carts are $50 and $30, juniors pay $15 and $10, and groups of 17 or more pay $60 on weekdays and $70 on weekends. Bookings are essential, online or through the golf shop on 02 6672 4200. Public tee times start from 9.30am on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 12.30pm on Wednesday, outside the medley field on Friday, from 3pm on Saturday and from 7.30am on Sunday.
The golf shop handles club repairs and runs clinics, including a Tuesday veterans clinic and a Sunday junior program in school terms. The Olivewood Bistro serves lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday in a new kitchen overlooking the course, and the clubhouse has a TAB sports bar, Keno, a children's area and a free courtesy bus on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
