About the course
Farrell Flat Golf Club plays on council parkland at Farrell Flat, a small town in the Regional Council of Goyder. The course occupies about 37 hectares of Crown parkland off Rassam Terrace, with the clubrooms and a storage shed on adjoining lots in Abyssinia Terrace. The site is leased to the Farrell Flat Management Committee, which runs it for the community together with the town's tennis courts.
Golf at Farrell Flat stopped in 2016 and the clubrooms were closed for about eight years. A golf committee re-formed in 2024, when the management committee sought council funding to paint the clubrooms and return them to use.
By August 2026 the management committee reported that nine holes were back in play, with new flags and holes installed. The clubroom and toilets have been painted inside and out, and a fridge, stove, microwave and reverse-cycle air conditioning have been fitted. Planned works include new tee blocks and scrapes, and level paving.
Green fees, playing days and contact details for visitors were not published in the sources available.
