About the course

Jamestown Golf Club's course lies about 8.5 kilometres south-west of Jamestown in South Australia's Mid North, inside the Bundaleer Forest Reserve. It occupies the northern end of the reserve, beyond the picnic ground and a sporting ground with a cricket oval and tennis courts. The club's address is 146 Range Road, and the course was among the sporting facilities built in Jamestown during the 20th century.

The 18-hole course plays to par 70, has an Australian Course Rating of 67, and its fairways are lined with eucalypts.

Golf here follows the seasons. The course is played through the cooler months, from April to October, and is closed over summer, and green fee players are welcome during the season. The club holds open men's and women's championships in August each year.

The club posts its notices, including when the course reopens, on its Facebook page, so check there before making the drive. The clubrooms are also available for hire, with bookings considered at committee meetings.
