About the course
Georgetown Golf Club is on West Terrace in Georgetown, a small town in the Mid North of South Australia. The Northern Areas Council's history of Georgetown records that, from 1936 on, the old Georgetown council helped provide the town's golf course, along with its tennis courts, bowling green and oval, and also a golf course at nearby Yacka.
The course is kept in play all year. The competition season runs on Sundays from April to September with a 12.30pm tee-off. Outside the season, from October to March, golfers usually tee off on Sundays at 4pm. The club held its season-ending windup in late September 2026 and invited everyone along.
The club does not publish green fees or a hole count online. Contact it on (08) 8662 4058 before visiting.
