About the course

Rowville Lakes Golf Course is a public course at the corner of Police and Stud Roads in Rowville, in Melbourne's south-east. It opened in 1978 as Tirhatuan Park Golf Course with nine holes and grew to 18 holes in 1981. Eric Horne and the company Green Masters designed and built it.

The course is a par 69 of 5,959 metres from the men's tees, with undulating greens, lakes and 25 bunkers. It has four par 3s and only one par 5, the 497-metre 3rd, so several long par 4s carry the challenge, including the 441-metre 7th, the 465-metre 11th and the 446-metre 15th.

The course is open to the public, with online booking after registration. Green fees from 1 November 2025, Tuesday to Friday, are $30 for 18 holes and $20 for nine in store, or $25 online for 18 holes. On weekends and public holidays the rates are $40 and $25 in store, or $35 and $22 online. Juniors pay $18. Specials include Mad Monday unlimited golf ($20 in store, $17.90 online), unlimited golf after midday, and an early bird nine holes before 8am. Motorised carts are $40 for 18 holes and $25 for nine, a pull buggy is $6 and hire clubs are $25 for 18 holes. A five-day midweek membership costs $499, with a $5 fee per game.

Facilities include a practice green, a pro shop, PGA golf lessons and competitions through the Rowville Lakes Country Golf Club, with snacks, coffee and licensed drinks available.
