About the course
Glen Waverley Golf Course is a public 18-hole course at 915 Waverley Road, near Jells Park and about 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. It is owned by Monash City Council and managed as part of the Glen Waverley Sports Hub, which also has an 18-court tennis centre. The course is home to Glen Waverley Golf Club, a private club founded in 1967 whose membership does not include green fees, so members pay for each round at the course.
The course follows the Dandenong Creek trail and has bentgrass greens, full watering and relatively few bunkers. It is short, at par 68 for men and 71 for women, but tight fairways and well-placed bunkers reward accuracy more than distance. Holes include short par 4s that longer hitters can drive, such as the 285-metre 16th, and the round finishes with the 160-metre par 3 18th to a small elevated green.
The course is open to the public every day, with hours varying by season. For 2026/27, weekday green fees are $38.60 for 18 holes and $27.60 for nine, and weekend and public holiday rates are $44.10 and $33.05. Concession and government card rates are available. Carts cost $50.70 for 18 holes and hire clubs $30.85, and tee times can be booked online. The golf club runs competitions every morning except Friday.
The driving range is permanently closed. The pro shop and cafe open early each day, and the shop has an indoor Trackman simulator bay, a club fitting and repair centre and PGA professionals who give lessons, as well as junior programs.
