About the course

Timboon Golf Club is entered from 29 Egan Street, Timboon, in south-west Victoria's dairy country. The town is about 25 kilometres from the Great Ocean Road and close to Port Campbell, the Twelve Apostles and Warrnambool.

The course is a full 18 holes made up of 14 holes plus four. It runs through mature native bushland, with two dams in play and some undulating ground. The men's course measures 5618 metres and the women's 5060 metres, with a course rating of 70 and a slope of 128. Koalas, ducks, echidnas, rabbits and native birds are often seen during a round.

Visitors are welcome on most days, although some times on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday are kept for members. Green fees are $25 for 18 holes and $15 for nine, and juniors pay $10 and $5. Pay through Book a Tee, by online banking, with the QR code, or in the honesty box on the clubhouse verandah, where scorecards are kept. Card payments carry a 2.4% surcharge. Keep the receipt as proof of payment. To book ahead or ask about playing in a competition, contact the men's captain.

The licensed clubhouse has a bar, a commercial kitchen and an undercover deck overlooking the course, with disabled access and an accessible toilet. It holds up to 250 people for functions, and the course can be booked for corporate and group golf days.
