About the course
Ariah Park Golf Club is a nine-hole sand scrape course in the village of Ariah Park. It lies less than a kilometre north of the Burley Griffin Way, at about 315 metres above sea level, and the club's listed address is 14 Barnes Street.
The course is a simple country layout: the holes run straight, there are no bunkers, the fairways carry little grass and the greens are small sand scrapes. Nine holes play to par 35, or par 70 when the nine is played twice, and measure 2,870 metres from the blue tees and 2,511 metres from the red. The opening hole is a 477-metre par 5, the 6th is a second par 5 at 461 metres, and the shortest hole is the 8th, a 109-metre par 3.
Visiting players are welcome and social golf is available seven days a week. Competition days and green fees are not published online, so contact the club before travelling. The club does not have its own website.
