About the course
The Coolamon Sport & Recreation Club runs an 18-hole sand greens golf course in Coolamon, a Riverina town about 30 minutes north-west of Wagga Wagga. The golf course shares the club grounds with bowling greens, tennis courts and touch fields, next to the town's football ground.
From the white tees the course measures 5,933 metres and plays to par 72, with 36 on each nine. Each half has two par 3s and three par 5s, and the longest holes are the 494-metre par 5 11th and the 490-metre par 5 16th. The tennis court and bowling green are out of bounds and sit beside the 1st and 18th fairways.
In October 2026 the club hosted the Vendi Golf Women's NSW Sand Greens Championship, its first time staging the event in more than five years.
Visitors are welcome and the weekly competitions are open to members and visitors alike. Green fees and competition days are not published online, so contact the club before visiting.
The clubhouse opens from midday Monday to Wednesday and from 11am Thursday to Sunday. Its restaurant serves lunch and dinner six days a week, closed on Tuesdays, and bookings are essential.
