About the course
The golf course of the West Wyalong Services and Citizens' Sports Club is on Tallimba Road, a few minutes' drive from the West Wyalong town centre just off the Newell Highway (A39). The course was established more than 100 years ago and is part of the Club West Wyalong group, which also runs the Services and Citizens Club in Monash Street and the Club Inn Motel.
Since being upgraded and fully watered, the course is an 18-hole, par 72 layout with grass greens. The Club Inn Motel sits in the middle of the course, and golf packages including accommodation and meals are available.
The course is open to the public seven days a week, with play from 8am to 5pm, and visitors are welcome. Green fees are not published online; contact the sports club on (02) 6972 2541 for current rates and competition days.
The sports club also has lawn bowls, with social bowls on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, a bistro, and a swimming pool at the Club Inn for motel guests.
