About the course
Bellata Golf Club is a nine-hole course with sand greens at 80 Berrigal Creek Road, Bellata, a small village in wheat-growing country on the Newell Highway, about 48 kilometres north of Narrabri and 54 kilometres south of Moree. The district is also known for petrified and opalised wood and agate.
The club runs golf and community events through the year. Recent examples include the Bellata Golf Open in July 2025, a shotgun-start event with lunch included and a hole-in-one prize, and day-night ambrose events in which some holes are played after dark on an illuminated course. The club also hosts Australia Day and other community gatherings at the clubhouse.
Free camping at the golf club is provided by the local council, and campers are asked to leave the site clean. The village roadhouse, open 24 hours, is the nearest place for a meal outside club events.
Par, course length and green fees are not published online. Contact the club on 02 6793 7559 or through its Facebook page.
