About the course
Wee Waa Golf Club is at 177 Golf Club Road, Wee Waa, the cotton-growing town on the Namoi River about 42 kilometres west of Narrabri. It is a nine-hole public course run by a local community club, and the course is maintained by volunteers.
In 2026 the club bought a new turf mower, funded by a NSW Golf Foundation grant and donations from the Lower Namoi Cotton Growers Association and a local pastoral company. Unreliable old equipment had previously stopped the volunteers mowing the fairways in wet weather. Since the new mower arrived the course has been kept in consistent condition, and membership has grown.
Social golf is available seven days a week. The club holds regular competitions, with results posted on its Facebook page, and hosts community events such as charity days and an annual Melbourne Cup calcutta and ambrose golf day. The clubhouse is also used for functions.
The course plays to par 72 for men and par 74 for women over 18 holes. Green fees are not published online. Contact the club on 02 6795 4414.
