About the course

Narrabri Golf Club, known locally as the Golfie, is at 116 Gibbons Street, Narrabri, in the Namoi Valley of north-west NSW. The town is on the Newell Highway, about 100 kilometres south of Moree and 110 kilometres north of Coonabarabran, with Wee Waa 45 kilometres to the west. The club is one of three venues run by Club Narrabri, alongside the Narrabri RSL and the Narrabri Bowlo, and one social membership covers all three.

The 18-hole course plays to par 71. It is relatively flat and easy to walk, but the greens are small, so approach shots need to be accurate.

The course is open seven days a week during daylight hours, and social golf is available every day. Club competitions are medleys on Saturday and Sunday. Charity and community ambrose days are held through the year and are often open to social golfers without a handicap. Motorised carts and hire clubs are available. Green fees are not published online; contact the club on 02 6792 2344.

The renovated clubhouse has a deck and verandah overlooking the fairways, a main lounge and bar, Keno and TAB, and a large children's playground. It opens from Wednesday to Sunday, and the grill serves brunch on Sunday and lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday. Upstairs, an indoor golf lounge has two TrackMan simulators. The pro shop offers lessons and clinics for adults and juniors, school holiday programs, and monthly Empower Golf clinics for people with a disability. Club Narrabri runs a courtesy bus on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
