About the course
Bexley Golf Club was founded in 1939 on an old dairy farm at Kingsgrove, in Sydney's inner south-west, where the gently rolling ground and open parkland made a natural site for a golf course.
The 18-hole course is a par 64 and measures 4,113 metres, so it rewards accuracy and restraint from the tee rather than distance. A few of the par 4s are within reach of long hitters, but the fairways are narrow and tree-lined, and bunkers guard greens that the club describes as tricky.
Social golf is available seven days a week. Public tee times are booked online after a one-off registration: weekday sheets open 14 days ahead and weekend sheets eight days ahead, and weekend and public holiday public bookings are not taken through the pro shop. Players should check in at the pro shop 15 minutes before their time, and each golfer needs their own set of clubs, with hire sets available. Weekday green fees are $40 for 18 holes and $35 for nine, and $45 and $40 on weekends, with lower rates for juniors and students, and for seniors on weekdays. A Late Rate introduced in October 2026 allows play after 3pm on any day for $25, including a drink. Carts cost $45 for 18 holes and $35 for nine and must be booked in advance. Groups of 20 or more arrange their day through the pro shop.
The clubhouse is home to the Happy Soul Bistro, which trades seven days, serves breakfast to golfers on weekend mornings and offers dinner at least five nights a week, with weekly specials. The club also hosts corporate golf days and functions.
