About the course
Callala Country Golf Club is the golf section of Club Callala at Callala Beach, a short walk from the beach on the northern shore of Jervis Bay in the Shoalhaven. The club has served the Jervis Bay community for more than 40 years, and the course is set in open, park-like grounds where kangaroos and water birds are often seen.
The course has 18 holes and plays to a par of 68 for men and 70 for women. It is compact, measuring 4,745 metres from the blue tees (rating 68, slope 111) and 4,605 metres from the red tees (rating 72, slope 111), and suits both newer golfers and low markers.
Visitors pay $45 for either nine or 18 holes, or $30 to play in a competition, and carts cost visitors $50. Bookings are taken by phone on the club's main number, option 2. Competitions are held on Tuesday (veterans), Wednesday (ladies) and Saturday (open), and social golf is available on the other days as well. Golf membership requires financial membership of Club Callala.
Club Callala has a bistro serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and runs a courtesy bus from Tuesday to Sunday. The club is open every day except Christmas Day.
Green fees
