About the course

Goolgowi Golf Club is a nine-hole public course on Zara Street in Goolgowi, a small village in Carrathool Shire at the crossroads of the Mid Western Highway and the Kidman Way in the New South Wales Riverina. The village serves the surrounding farming district and has motels, a caravan park, a pub and the Goolgowi Ex-Servicemen's Memorial Club, which makes it a handy stop for travellers.

The nine holes are played twice for an 18-hole round of par 72, measuring 5,776 metres from the white tees and 5,181 metres from the red tees. A separate tee lengthens the par 3 third from 97 metres on the first loop to 118 metres when it is played as the 12th, and the layout includes back-to-back par 5s of 522 and 515 metres at the sixth and seventh.

Visitors are welcome every day, and Golf NSW lists social golf seven days a week. Green fees are not published online; contact details are on the club's Golf NSW page.

Carrathool Shire Council's community grants have helped the club, funding the relocation of mains power in 2019-20 and clubhouse repairs in 2020-21.
