About the course

Macarthur Grange Country Club is on Raby Road at Kearns in the Varroville Valley, near Campbelltown in south-western Sydney and about 45 minutes from the CBD. It is a separate club from Lakeside Golf Club Camden, which is also on Raby Road at Gledswood Hills.

The course is an 18-hole, par 70 links-style layout of about 5500 metres. Fairways run through valleys and climb to greens set on hilltops, and while it is not long, penal rough, deep bunkers and water on four holes, together with large, quick greens, add difficulty. The 2026 greens report describes autumn renovations and drainage work around the 1st hole and putting green.

The course is open to the public. The casual weekday rate is $70 for 18 holes including a shared cart, and bookings are taken online and through the pro shop. Golf course and shop hours are 7am to 6pm on weekdays. Social golf clubs can book fixtures up to two years in advance for groups of up to 100 players, with one-tee starts from 6.30am, and corporate golf days are catered for. A smart-casual dress code applies, with soft spikes and no thongs.

  • Monthly Medal: first Saturday of each month, with a Gold Medal play-off in December.
  • Club events: Club Championship, Handicap Match Play, Australia Day Cup and the Macarthur Grange Cup.

The pro shop handles cart and pull-buggy hire. The clubhouse has verandahs looking over the course and a bar and cafe, and Nova on the Grange is an Italian restaurant and function venue for events of up to 450 guests.
