About the course
Macquarie Links International Golf Club is in the suburb of Macquarie Links in Sydney's south-west, about five minutes from Campbelltown and ten from Liverpool. The club puts the drive at roughly 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD and 35 minutes from the airport, with access from the M5, the M7 and the Hume Highway.
The course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout by Robin Nelson, whose other designs include Mauna Lani on Hawaii's Big Island and courses in the Philippines and Bali. The course is laid out in the style of a Scottish links.
Visitors book tee times through the club's public online calendar. Online rates include a shared cart unless booked at the walking rate, and competition entry is an extra $15 a player. In late October 2026 the calendar showed $80 for a single player with a cart on weekdays, about $60 to $70 a player for groups sharing carts, and twilight rounds from 3pm at $50 with a cart or $40 walking. Sunday rates were higher, and Saturday was not open to online bookings. Mega Monday is an open competition for visitors at $65 a player including green fee, cart and competition fee, booked through the pro shop on 02 8796 5811. Changes to a booking need 48 hours' notice. Group golf days of up to 132 players run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Practice facilities include a full-length driving range with 10 matted bays plus grass tees, a chipping green, a practice bunker and a putting green. PGA professional Kesh Nair runs the golf shop, which sells equipment and apparel, regrips and reshafts clubs, and offers lessons with video analysis. The club has a fleet of 73 carts. The restaurant serves lunch daily from 11am to 3pm and breakfast from 6.30am to 11am on Wednesdays and weekends, with bookings on 02 8796 5810.
