About the course
The golf course at Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort sits within the resort grounds at 1650 Alpine Way, Crackenback, near Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains. The resort covers 150 acres beside a lake in the Thredbo Valley, with Kosciuszko National Park next door and the Thredbo and Perisher ski resorts about 15 minutes away. It is now part of the Oaks hotel group, with hotel rooms, studios, villas, lakeview apartments and mountain chalets.
The course has nine holes. Par, hole lengths and the history of the layout are not published online.
Golf is one of the complimentary activities for resort guests, alongside archery, a nine-hole disc golf course, tennis, trampolines, canoeing, a sculpture trail, and walking and mountain bike trails. The resort has two restaurants, Cuisine and Perrotta's Italian and Bar, a day spa and wellness centre, and a health centre with a gym, sauna and indoor heated pool. Crackers General Store at reception stocks essentials and has a liquor store.
