About the course
Rich River Golf Club is on Twenty Four Lane at Moama, close to the banks of the Murray River and across the river from Echuca. The club draws golfers from Bendigo, Shepparton and the twin towns, and is also home to bowls, croquet and tennis sections.
There are two 18-hole championship courses. The East Course is par 72 and stretches to 6,243 metres from the black tees, with a scratch rating of 73. The West Course is par 71 for men and par 72 for women, measuring 5,897 metres from the black tees. Both are presented for play all year, and the club has made a series of recent improvements to suit golfers of all standards. A golf course masterplan has been published.
Visitors pay $75 for 18 holes and $40 for nine, with an unlimited daily rate of $109 and a $5 discount for booking 18 holes online. Juniors pay $30 and $17. Visitor carts are $63 for 18 holes and $35 for nine, clubs and buggies can be hired, and players bringing their own carts pay a $10 daily levy. Tee times can be booked online or through the pro shop. Competition days are worth checking before a visit:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday: medley
- Wednesday and Saturday: women
- Thursday and Saturday: men
The pro shop is open seven days with PGA coaching, club fitting and repairs. Practice is on a 16-bay undercover driving range open daily from 7am, and there is also mini golf and a golf simulator. The clubhouse runs a courtesy bus within Echuca Moama, and Rich River Golf Club Resort has 40 standard rooms, 22 deluxe rooms, a spa room and an apartment for stay-and-play packages, with a further 23-room building planned for 2026.

Unlimited daily rate $109; $5 off 18 holes booked online; juniors $30/$17; reciprocal clubs 50 to 100% discount. Carts $63 (18) and $35 (9) for visitors; own-cart levy $10 per day.
