About the course
Tura Beach Country Club is at 1 The Fairway, Tura Beach, on the NSW Sapphire Coast. Its 18-hole championship course was designed by Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge, and runs between coastal bushland and beachfront, mixing flat, links-style holes with undulating fairways.
From the men's tees the course measures 5,772 metres with a par of 69 or 70, and from the women's tees 5,397 metres with a par of 73 or 74; the slope rating is 128 for both. Bunkering, water carries and well-guarded greens are the main defences. The signature hole is the par 3 5th, played over water to a large green with ocean views, and the back nine opens up views along the coast.
Visitors pay $65 for 18 holes and $40 for nine, with Seniors Card holders paying $60 and $38 and juniors under 18 $30 and $20 (fees effective 1 January 2026). Twilight golf after 2pm, or 3pm in daylight saving, is $48 for 18 holes and $30 for nine. Cart hire is $60 for 18 holes and $37 for nine, or $42 and $30 at twilight. One-week and two-week unlimited golf passes cost $195 and $265. Tee times can be booked online, and the pro shop is on 02 6495 9068.
Visitors with a current Golflink number are welcome in competitions, at $42 plus the $19 competition fee:
- Tuesday: men's 18 holes
- Wednesday: women's 18 holes
- Thursday: men's nine holes and a pro shop 18-hole medley
- Friday: nine-hole Chook Run
- Saturday: men's and women's competition
- Sunday: mixed competition
The Ocean View Bistro opens seven days for lunch from 12pm to 2:30pm and dinner from 5pm, until 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 8:30pm on Friday and Saturday. The club also has lawn bowls.
