About the course
Woolooware Golf Club is in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney's south, close to the Cronulla beaches and about 800 metres from Woolooware railway station. The 18-hole course is open for public use and is set among native vegetation, with gentle slopes and bunkering, and the clubhouse overlooks the greens. A new course record of 64, six under par, was set recently. Flood mitigation works took the 17th hole out of play for a period, and all 18 holes returned to play on 3 October 2026.
Public golfers register online as public members, and social bookings open eight days ahead from 6pm. Green fees from 1 July 2026 are $46 midweek and $50 on weekends and public holidays, with an off-peak rate of $36 from 3pm and twilight golf at $26 midweek from 4:30pm. Carts are $52, from a fleet of 28, and clubs can be hired. Visitors from other golf clubs are welcome in members' competitions, with bookings opening the day before. Members' competitions take the morning on most days:
- Monday to Wednesday: members' competitions in the morning, public golf before and after.
- Thursday: public golf all day.
- Friday: an Open Medley opt-in competition, bookable eight days ahead, with public golf all day.
- Saturday and Sunday: social clubs and competitions until about 1pm and noon, public golf afterwards.
The Woolooware Golf Academy offers private and on-course lessons with PGA professionals, group and short-game classes, and junior and adult programs, and the pro shop has an online store. JD's Bar and Grill is open seven days for lunch from midday to 2:30pm and dinner from 5pm, and the club has three function rooms and an outdoor terrace.
