About the course
St Helens Golf Club is set in bushland on the edge of St Helens on Tasmania's east coast. East Coast Tasmania Tourism describes it as an 18-tee course with a par of 71. The clubhouse has a fully stocked bar and can be hired for functions.
The club runs a full weekly program, with players hitting off from 10am for a 10.30am start:
- Tuesday: veterans' competition for men and women.
- Wednesday: red tee day for men and women.
- Thursday: a 12-hole stroke Chicken Run.
- Saturday: the main club competition, including the monthly medal.
Visitors can play on competition days once the field has finished, usually from about 3pm. Online tee booking is for members only, so visitors should phone the clubhouse on (03) 6376 1218. Motorised carts and pull buggies can be hired, and cart hire is booked on 0419 322 569.
