About the course

13th Beach Golf Links covers about 250 acres of former asparagus farmland near Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula. The Tony Cashmore-designed Beach Course opened in December 2001, the Creek Course, a collaboration between Cashmore and Sir Nick Faldo, followed in 2004, golf lodges with 20 rooms opened in 2019, and a nine-hole Short Course was added in 2021. Since 2013 the club has hosted the Vic Open, where men and women play the same courses at the same time for equal prize money.

The Beach Course is par 72 and listed at 5995 metres. Its first four holes run through the residential estate before the 5th tee leads out into the dunes and links terrain. The Creek Course, also par 72 and 6031 metres, has gently rolling couch fairways oversown with fescue, firm and fast greens surrounded by closely mown hollows and run-offs, and deep yellow-sand bunkers cut into the greens in the manner of Melbourne's sandbelt, with the creek and mature pines in play. The Short Course is par 27 over 1347 metres, with multiple tees.

The club is member-owned, so members, their guests and lodge guests get priority. Public tee times can be booked online up to three months ahead, subject to availability, and more are released three days before each day; bookings are confirmed on payment. In late October 2026 the booking sheet showed $155 for 18 holes on weekdays on either course and $175 for the Beach Course on Sunday. The Short Course was $35 a player or $80 for a group of four. Collared shirts and tailored shorts or trousers are required on the two main courses; denim, singlets, tracksuits and thongs are not allowed.

The driving range next to the clubhouse is open to everyone and has TrackMan bays. The academy, led by PGA professional Scott Smith, offers lessons and club fitting. The clubhouse restaurant is open to the public for breakfast and lunch, with dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and the bar is open daily.
