About the course

Eildon Golf Club is a public course at 52 Eildon-Jamieson Road, about five minutes from the Eildon township. The course runs over rolling hills, with fairways lined by trees, views over the surrounding country and kangaroos often on the course. The club's website does not give the number of holes, the par or a history of the course, and it pitches the layout at golfers of every standard, from low markers to beginners and children.

Casual golfers can turn up and play all year round. The green fee is $25 for adults whether you play nine or 18 holes, and $10 for juniors. Rounds can also be booked online through the club's website, with the booking confirmation shown on arrival.

Clubs, pull buggies and electric carts are available for hire. Club hire is $10 for non-members. The green fees page lists carts at $20 for 18 holes and $10 for nine, but another table on the same page shows $30 for non-members and gives two different buggy prices, so confirm hire rates when booking.
