About the course

Kialla Golf Club is on Central Kialla Road, about 15 minutes from the Shepparton CBD, in a quiet farming district. Honeysuckle Creek runs along the course's southern and western boundaries, with farmland to the north and east. The clubhouse was damaged in the October 2022 Goulburn Valley floods and is again available for functions.

The 18 holes are fully watered with tree-lined fairways. From the blue tees the course measures 5,788 metres to par 72, with 36 on each nine; the red tees play 5,150 metres. The front nine has a single par 3, the 128-metre 4th.

  • 5th: a 455-metre par 5, the only one on the front nine.
  • 12th: 504 metres, the longest hole on the card and one of two par 5s on the back nine.
  • 14th: a 188-metre par 3, the longest of the short holes.

Green fee players are welcome, and one price covers nine or 18 holes: $20, or $10 for students. Pay at the clubhouse in cash or by QR code. The course is open daily from 7am to 7pm; the clubhouse opens at varying times. Two carts can be hired for $50 each, booked 24 hours ahead, and drivers must be 18 or over with a licence. Visitors with a handicap can play in competitions on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; start times change with the season, so ring the clubhouse first. Green fee players must give way to competition groups.

The club is licensed, has a barbecue area and quotes for corporate days and larger groups.
