About the course
Cosgrove Golf Club plays over a nine-hole sand scrape layout at the foot of the Dookie Hills, on New Dookie Road at Cosgrove, about 20 km from Shepparton. The course is well treed and picturesque, and the club describes its atmosphere as friendly to visitors.
Played as 18 holes, the course is rated par 72 from both the blue and red markers, with a slope rating of 117 from each.
The club is a member of the Goulburn Murray Golf Association and still takes part in district golf. In the 2024-25 summer pennant season it fielded a combined Kialla-Cosgrove team, and Cosgrove supported the association's district teams event at Kyabram Valley View in August 2025. The club has a long record in the association's sand green championships: Cosgrove women won several division titles between 1992 and 2000, and a Cosgrove player won the men's sand green championship in 2007, 2010 and 2016.
Green fees and playing times are not published online, so contact the club before travelling. Its postal address is 910 Sidebottom Road, Pine Lodge VIC 3631.
